The Bates WIDE Dressage saddle is a cutting edge dressage saddle specially designed for the wider horse. World Class Dressage

Developed with and chosen by Charlotte Dujardin to maximise horse & rider synchronicity. The new block and seat configuration allows the rider to feel more balanced and 'at one' with their horse.

• The only dressage saddle to be scientifically tested with pressure mapping under the saddle and under the rider, combined with simultaneous two-dimensional and three-dimensional analysis of both horse and rider.
• The block incorporates a shock-absorbing element that accommodates the forward movement of the knee – the optimal level of support without restriction.
• Thanks to the block and seat configuration, the symmetry and balance of the rider's seat is improved because the pelvis is proven to remain neutral for longer in each stride.

Cara Mono flap Dressage

Developed with Friesian specialist Marc-Peter Spahn who had previously struggled to find a saddle to fit the 'uphill' conformation of this breed. Also suited to baroque types such as Andalusians, Lipizzaners and Lusitanos.

For the rider seeking a monoflap design and a professional close-contact feel but who finds bigger blocks restrictive or uncomfortable.

The Bamburgh Dressage Saddle

This close contact saddle has a deep soft supported seat with a forgiving block that positions the leg comfortably for all riders.  The panel is closer contact felt with a flock layer to enable custom panel adjustment.  The ghost stitch allows the knee pad to settle to the riders leg and mould around the knee roll.  It also comes with adjustable girth selections allowing custom girth positions.  With an extremely soft feel and rideability of the flap leather, it gives extra durability with a guard strip to prevent wear.  The Bamburgh comes in both dual and mono flap design with Cobalt Blue patent accents as standard.  Other options for welt and facings can be offered.
